Terms and conditions

1. About these terms
These terms govern your use of mutapa.co, your Mutapa account, and any order you place through the website. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
2. Accounts
You must provide accurate information, keep your login details secure, and notify us if you suspect unauthorised access. You are responsible for activity performed through your account. We may suspend access where reasonably necessary to protect you, Mutapa, or the website.
3. Product information
We aim to present accurate descriptions, images, availability, and prices using information supplied by the merchant. Colour, scale, texture, and handmade variation may appear differently on screen. An item is not reserved until checkout is completed. We may correct an obvious error or withdraw an unavailable item before accepting an order.
4. Orders and payment
Your cart is an invitation to place an order. An order is accepted only when payment has been confirmed and an order confirmation has been issued. Prices are shown in South African rand unless stated otherwise. Stripe processes payment information; Mutapa does not store full card numbers or security codes. We may cancel and refund an order affected by fraud, pricing error, stock error, or a legal restriction.
5. Shipping
Checkout shipping is available within South Africa. International delivery requires a separate quote and is not completed through standard checkout. Delivery estimates are not guarantees. You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address and for any international duties or taxes agreed in a quote.
6. Returns and refunds
Return eligibility may depend on the item, its condition, hygiene considerations, customisation, and the supplying merchant's policy. Contact us promptly after delivery if an item is damaged, incorrect, or materially different from its description. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot lawfully be excluded under South African consumer law.
7. Acceptable use
You may not misuse the website, attempt unauthorised access, interfere with security, scrape the catalog at scale, use the service unlawfully, or submit harmful code. Website content, branding, photography, and design remain the property of their respective owners and may not be reproduced without permission.
8. Availability and liability
We do not promise uninterrupted website availability. To the extent permitted by law, Mutapa is not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Our responsibility for a claim relating to an order will not exceed the amount paid for that order, except where the law does not allow that limitation.
9. Changes and governing law
We may update these terms and will publish the revised date on this page. Changes apply prospectively. These terms are governed by the laws of South Africa, and disputes are subject to the jurisdiction of its courts, without limiting any mandatory consumer forum rights.
